Disclaimer: I've received concerns from people about having these links here for the world to see. Here are my thoughts: These are all public facing OWA servers that are located in a DMZ on a government computer network and require your CAC to access the site. So, the links won't help anyone if they don't have a CAC and an email account on that particular network.

Between mid October 2019 and mid February 2020 everyone in the Army will be migrated to PIV AUTH certificate for Email access. You will no longer use your Email certificate for Enterprise Email.

Outlook web access app for mac

Microsoft is building a universal Outlook client for Windows and Mac that will also replace the default Mail & Calendar apps on Windows 10 when ready. This new client is codenamed Monarch and is based on the already available Outlook Web app available in a browser today. Outlook Web App (aka OWA) is the web based mail client that is part of Microsoft Exchange Server which is also available for Live@EDU users and subscribers of Office 365 for Business and Exchange Online. Then there are still some other mail clients within the Outlook brand: Outlook Mobile for Windows Phone. Outlook for Mac works with Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365, Outlook.com (including Hotmail and MSN), Gmail, Yahoo Mail, and iCloud Learn more about Microsoft 365 Microsoft 365 is a cloud-based subscription service that brings together premium versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneDrive, with the best tools for the way people. Open a web browser such as Internet Explorer, type the Outlook Web App address in the address bar, and then press Enter. If you receive the following certificate warning page, click Continue to this website (not recommended) to continue to open Outlook Web App. May 25, 2020 In this post, we shall compare Outlook Mail for Mac to the default Apple Mail app. The comparison will be based on UI, Email Organization, Compose Mail. Mac users who choose to upgrade to Mac OS Catalina (10.15) will need to uninstall all 3rd Party CAC enablers per https://militarycac.com/macuninstall.htm

Accessing OWA requires the installation steps below and an email account on that network

Installation Steps
Step 1: Obtain a CAC Reader
Step 2:CAC Reader driver
Step 3:DoD Certificates
Step 4:ActivClient
Step 4a:Update ActivClient
Step 5:IE adjustments
Step 6: Find and Click the link below for your OWA Email server and select the EMAIL certificate on your CAC (Except for Dual Persona personnel), you will need to select your PIV certificate if on Mail.mil.

You may need to click More choices to see the additional certificates, once selected, click OK

Log In Outlook Web App

Get Outlook for Mac

Outlook is included with Microsoft Office 365. Faculty and staff with full-service SUNet IDs can download Microsoft Office for Mac via webmail for free. See the Microsoft Office page for more information.

Configure Outlook

You can configure Microsoft Outlook to access your Office 365 account by setting up an Exchange connection. An Exchange connection provides access your email, calendar, contacts, and tasks in Outlook.

Outlook Online Web Access

Note: Two-step authentication may also be required.

  1. Launch Outlook.
  2. On the Outlook menu, click Preferences and then click Accounts.
  3. Select Exchange or Office 365 for the account type
  4. Enter the following information for your Exchange account:
    • Email Address: your @stanford.edu email address
    • Method: User Name and Password
    • User name: sunetid@stanford.edu
    • Password: your SUNet ID password
    • Configure automatically: checked

  5. Click Add Account.
  6. A message displays asking whether you want to allow the Outlook autodiscover server to configure your settings. Check Always use my response for this server and click Allow.
  7. Your Exchange account settings display. Close this window.
